Will the Roman Empire fall?

On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer suggested that Roman Reigns would lose the Intercontinental Championship to The Miz at Raw 25.

The Georgia Tech product is currently pencilled in to dethrone Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and is certain to drop the Intercontinental title before the Show of Shows. The Miz has also proven to be a more-than-capable Champion; he will likely carry the IC title into WrestleMania and defend it in a multi-man match.

Roman Reigns is currently favourite to walk out of Wrestlemania 34 as Universal Champion

This is the first of two betting odds stories, and believe it or not, this is the most likely of the two, despite being for an event that's several months away, with a match card that hasn't been finalised yet.

But don't let a little thing like announced matches get in the way of the bookmakers predicting who will be Universal Champion at Wrestlemania, with the odds currently overwhelmingly in the favour of 'The Big Dog' Roman Reigns.

Braun Strowman praises Roman Reigns

On the latest episode of the Cheap Heat podcast hosted by Peter Rosenberg, The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman was a guest, and he had some incredibly flattering words for his on-screen arch rival Roman Reigns.An out-of-character Strowman had some incredibly strong words of praise for Roman Reigns. He said:

"There's not another talent on this planet like him. He's one of the best, if not the best in the ring, hands down" Strowman is not the first person to praise Roman Reigns for his talent. There are multiple people backstage in WWE, talent and personnel, who always praise Roman for his work ethic, behaviour and talent.

Roman Reigns defeats Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe

Roman Reigns faced off against Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe in a triple threat match on Monday Night RAW and Reigns emerged victorious. Reigns' feud with Strowman began earlier this year at the Royal Rumble when Strowman cost him the Universal Championship. Reigns then defeated Strowman at Fastlane, but lost to Strowman at Payback and Great Balls of Fire.

Reigns has never had a pay-per-view feud with Joe, but they’ve been facing each other since Joe debuted the night after the Royal Rumble. Reigns never lost clean, but Joe did manage to defeat Reigns in each encounter they’ve had until this point.
